Transforming cultural heritage into immersive, ensory learning aboratories for the digital uture.
Vision and Purpose
The MUSE-ACTIVE project was established to trigger an innovative transformation in museum and school education.
The central objective is to move beyond the passive “lecture-style” model by integrating experiential learning with museum didactics, making study an active, sensory, and engaging experience for students aged 10 to 15.

- Digital Transition: Developing the digital readiness, resilience, and capacity of schools and museums.
- Key Competences: Promoting critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
- Wellbeing at School: Creating inclusive and motivating environments that foster self-esteem, especially for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

- Digital Platform: A virtual environment where students explore heritage through avatars and AR/VR simulations.
- Practical Guide: A comprehensive manual for teachers with resources and instructions for using the online space.
